| I am 16 years old and some of my interests are making jewelry, drawing, listening to music, tormenting my 14 year old sister Jessica, 11 year old brother Jonathan and caring for my little sister, Hope. I also have a twin brother named Ryan, who was stillborn. I have been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder as well as Autism, and have had to work a little harder at some things than most of my peers. But I am fortunate to have been blessed with an artistic side, and it is something I really do love to do. I am home schooled and have thought about some career goals for my future. I currently am interested in forensics science. I first started to have an interest in jewelry making when I was seven and met a woman named Valerie Hector at an art show in State College PA. Valerie makes very pretty jewelry and has been an inspiration to me since I first started making beady buddies. Valerie has even gone to China to learn a very special technique only known by royalty in China. You can view her work at valeriehector.com. There are a several people that are important to me and my family that have had to deal with cancer, and so I have decided to create a couple of special bracelets so that others can show their support for the fight against those cancers. All proceeds from the sales of those bracelets will go to the designated individuals and I encourage everyone to help in the fight. |
